Hi All,
Passed the foundation exam a while back and now looking to do some more ITIL exams.. currently working in service delivery and would like to specliaise in change management/incident management and then get intermediates under my belt..
Question is for the BCS exams such as change management and incident management .. what material can I use? cant seem to find any?
IT service management | Certifications | BCS Certifications
Also for the intermediate exams what resource have people been using e.g. is the service design book enough?
Thanks for any answers.
Regards,

UncleB Member Posts: 417To even sit these exams you need a training completion certificate from one of the approved training providers - and the material available is pretty limited to the official books - Amazon has the lifecycle route books for $350:
https://www.axelos.com/qualifications/itil-qualifications/itil-intermediate-level
Your training provider will provide you with 2 sample papers for the exams (that's all there is I'm afraid) so you need to study the material and really know it to pass.
I go through it in some depth in a thread on here:

It isn't easy but worthwhile things rarely are.
Good luck

Liz Gallacher Member Posts: 107As has been said, there is no specific reading material for the BCS exams. For the Intermediate, you could have a look at the ITIL Intermediate Certification Companion Study Guide ISBN 111901221X, which covers all the Lifecycle Intermediates in one book, and saves you buying the core volumes [h=1][/h]

I havent really got the funds to fork out for a training course.. so going with the specialist in Service and Incident management.. have ordered the book on the bcs website and will read through the related sections from the foundations book aswell.
thanks. -

Claire Agutter Member Posts: 772 ■■■■■■■□□□Hi joemc3, you don't need to take a course for the practitioner exam. You can purchase the book and self-study and take the exam via one of the exam institutes. Early feedback though is that the exam is tough. Claire
