So I passed the C172 Last week to me the pre-test was a lot harder than the actual test. I have basic knowledge of networking so I'm not a complete noob.

I watched the first half of the Mike Meyer Network+ class and there are like 5 webinars under the tips section that were pretty good meat and potatoes stuff.

    Things to know
OSI model and how each layer works.
    The TCP Model
    ARP,PING,ICMP
    PAN,LAN,CAN,MAN,WAN
    ports
    twisted pair
    subnetting
    fiber cabling

So I Passed C779 last Friday really upset that I over studied for this test I read some of the course material but mainly used the video's from the mentor/youtube and w3school and went through all the labs. I scored a 100 next up is the network+exam

Passed C480 (Network+) today. I didn't receive the highest score but a pass is a pass.

I would rate myself at basic level knowledge when it comes to Networking, But with the exam cram book and the Jason Dion class on udemy i believe anyone can pass the exam.

Yup. I assume this thread is more for accountability purposes, but I always enjoy following progress and success. Good luck

So I'm three month into my term and I completed My classes for a complete workload. I just Passes the Project Plus exam Pk004. Between the Plurasight class with Casey Ayers and the Kim Heldman Study guide you will definitely be sitting good two tips take longer than a week to study lol I passed but my score suffered for it. Another tip don't pick the choice that would happen in your organization choose from what the book says.
