GXPN advice

Hope everyone is doing well. Been a long time since I've been here. Not sure if anyone has the GXPN but did anyone here take it recently and have any advice or subjects they wish they focused more on or topics they got a lot of questions on? Thanks.

Understanding x86 assembly language before showing up to class would be very helpful.  Otherwise it follows the same format as a standard SANS class: everything on the exam is in the books.
