If you want an excellent free course, that even goes into exploit development, be sure to check out Offensive Security's Metasploit Unleashed: Metasploit Unleashed - Mastering the Framework -

I'll probably attend if they offer it when they're back in New Orleans at the beginning of next year.Ed Skoudis wrote:Looking for something to do for a couple of days later this summer? John Strand and I just finished writing a brand-new, in-depth Metasploit 2-day course that will debut in Boston on August 8 and 9.
It would be really cool if you could join us. We managed to arrange a 25% discount, if you sign up using the code MET25.
John and I put everything we had for two months into making this course. I'm really excited about the result, which is focused on taking attendees' understanding of Metasploit and its use in penetration testing to the next level. We coordinated course development with HD Moore, and the result is designed to be the official Metasploit course.
This is the most hands-on course, with the deepest, most complex exercises I've ever written. In fact, about half of the course time is spent doing hands-on work, seeing how to apply Metasploit in all kinds of pen-test-related activities. The slides are chock-full of Metasploit-y goodness. The slides are also the most graphically rich and complex we've done. Man, am I psyched.
