I thought at first it was gonna start out with "Dear Penthouse.."No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives. -
OptionsRobertKaucher Member Posts: 4,299 ■■■■■■■■■■The first part reminds me of the support call I put in to the local phone company for a BO's DSL. I told the guy the diagnostics I had run found an issue with the ATM link.
"With the what? Like the bank? Do you work for the bank?"
"ATM - the protocol."
"I only know TCP/IP."
"Can I have this call escelated?"
"No. There is no one else."
"Forget it. Just so you know in 15 minutes or so you guys will figure out there is an outage in Hamilton." *click*
I called back in 10 minutes trying to get another tech to escalate it:
"We are currently experiencing problems in parts of Hamilton and Fairfield..."
ATM - The bank... Give me a f***ing break. -

But after 3+ years of his antics,he was atcually giving good advice. He has NO reason to be a NE let alone near a PC. Painfully ...... LONG........THREE YEARS AND COUNTING.-WIP- (70-294 and 297)
Once MCSE 2k3 completed:
