Ticketing System
So, I work for a small company with just a few techs. We work with a lot of small companies, home users, and local government agencies. We are looking at a new system. Perhaps freshdesk Help desk and customer support software - Freshdesk
Anybody have any suggestions on some good solutions. We currently use freshbooks and basically our calendars in google apps to keep track of our open service requests and customer contact info.

+1 on ServiceDesk. If money is an issue, Spiceworks is a good option. -

We use this too. It's rather inexpensive, and works pretty well. Pretty easy setup too.
I've used Remedy and Service Center at other places. I would not suggest either of those for a small organization. They are very powerful and work great, but require a lot of configuration to get there. Large organizations that use them often have at leaste 1 FTE dedicated just to it!
