I haven't posted on here in a good while, but I think I will be resuming in the near future. I passed the GCIH on Friday. It was a pretty fun test. I studied a grand total of 3 days for it. I was a bit rushed on this one (If you couldn't tell). I had to meet a certification requirement for a job. I found the test to be pretty straight forward. It's a nice overview to the incident handling process and ethical hacking.
I believe I'm either going to take GPEN or GSNA next. Who knows, maybe I'll just do both.

I have the books. To be honest, with some studying I think I could have passed that without the SANS books. The only place I would have had an issue is with some of the rootkit stuff.I bring nothing useful to the table... -
