Are the GIAC exams taken online or at a facility?

It says proctored which typically means at a facility but I also saw it said you can take them online. ???

GIAC exams are proctored at a facility, but they are 'online' by nature. You cannot take the exams from home, but you can take them 'online' at a facility while being videotaped. Hope this answers your question.

Hey, my usual testing center, Irvine Valley College in Irvine, CA, is a GIAC testing center! Looks like the only one in the Orange County area too. It's small and sparsely staffed, but it gets the job done. It's also open on Saturdays. I don't think the campus charges for parking on the weekends either. Good to know.
