Hello to all. New member here and I am interested in getting the ITIL foundation certification.
My plan is to self study for this exam as I see a lot of folks here taking on that path. I personally am more of a book studying type of person. For the current examination (I'm assuming it would be a V3 exam), what would you recommend as a good book to use?
Thanks.

Amazon.com: Passing Your ITIL Foundation Exam - The ITIL Foundation Study Aid Book (9780113312061): Office of Government Commerce: Books
The Art of Service Online Learning: Elearning Programs for IT Professionals
With both of these you will surely pass. The art of service has videos and a book. The book was ok, but the videos were fantastic.
If interested, I still have mine and am looking at selling them. PM if interested.Currently reading: Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action -

lordy Member Posts: 632 ■■■■□□□□□□When you read the materials listed here and do the mock tests that you find on the Internet you should be fine.
I found the test to be one of the easier exams I took. It's all multiple choice with 4 answers so there is no fance fill-in-the-blank or drag&drop. That, to me, made it pretty easy as you can always verify your answers by explaining to yourself why the other three are wrong. The test gives you enough time to do this for nearly every question.Working on CCNP: [X] SWITCH --- [ ] ROUTE --- [ ] TSHOOT

fmadhoun Member Posts: 7 ■□□□□□□□□□I used the Passing Your ITIL Foundation Exam mentioned above by lordy and odesseyelite along with ITIL V3 Exam Prep Questions, Answers, & Explanations: 720+ ITIL Foundation Questions with Detailed Solutions that I borrowed from my colleague. In addition to some free resources and video tutorial published throughout the internet. I was new to ITIL but I found the exam easy and scored 89% at the first attempt.
Good luck.
