MCSE Security

Guys do i still have to write 299 to get my MCSE Security, even if i did 351.

    You need two electives, and 351 is one of them. 299 can count as the other, or you could do Security+, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, or CISM. Security+ would probably be the easiest route, to be honest.

    Except that 299 is a PITA... content is pretty much the same as 298, but the exam is a killer.

    +1. The 299 requires you to read the questions very carefully.

    You could skip the 299 and do Security+. It's certainly easier and also gives you the extra cert.
    Decide what to be and go be it.
