Guys do i still have to write 299 to get my MCSE Security, even if i did 351.

You need two electives, and 351 is one of them. 299 can count as the other, or you could do Security+, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, or CISM. Security+ would probably be the easiest route, to be honest.2024 Renew: [ ] AZ-204 [ ] AZ-305 [ ] AZ-400 [ ] AZ-500 [ ] Vault Assoc.

Security+ would probably be the easiest route, to be honest.
But if you already did 298 then 299 should be fairly easy as the info is the same just in the format we all know and love

You could skip the 299 and do Security+. It's certainly easier and also gives you the extra cert.Decide what to be and go be it.
