3-Day (brain)wash cycle

Been pushed to attend a three day course for the Foundation Certification (well they attend our office actually) with the exam scheduled for tomorrow.

I am techy by nature so sitting 8hrs a day in a course, where all I can click is the ballpoint pen, is a whole different challenge. Now I left my bag with the course book on the train as well.

Needless to say I am somewhat stressed. Working in a big corporate and still on probation obviously doesn't help (no pressure ey).

On the flip side, I read the official ITIL guide so far (before I knew I had to sit this course) and got some new "how to pass" pocket guide from Amazon, which I read too (also on the train right now).

All in all I think I got a long (google) night ahead of me.

Wish me luck (exam in 20 odd hrs).

You should be okay - just look around for some practice questions for the ITIL Foundation online. The Foundations exam is VERY easy compared to any other cert - you just need to know the basics. Be sure and know the lifecycle phases and the processes in each lifecycle phase and you should be in pretty good shape.... If you have your MCITP:EA then this should not be a problem.

But again - be sure and get some practice questions to see how the test is setup. There should be plenty of these available online.

    Good luck.

Jibba it's not bad at all. It's like Security +, very very easy.

Google Taruu and other free practice exams. They will help you get in the right mode.

Everything is easy once it "clicks" :)

A friend of mine failed VCP410 three times and I thought it was easy ....

I just don't like "concept" exams (if that makes sense) .. We shall see - exam is in an hour .. and strangely enough it seems to be an old school exam (pen and paper and everything) - the examiner is on her way to us so we'll see how it goes ...

Exam took me 45 minutes - as the examiner came to the office, rather than us going to Prometric / VUE, we had to do this on paper and the result can take up to two weeks.

I am sure I passed though ... was a lot easier than the sample papers you can download.
