Here's someone who recently passed the GSE lab exam (or at least that's how I'm reading it) and his write-up on the experience:

Quick, someone here validate what he said by passing the lab and get back to the rest of us. I know there's probably at least one or two people here that are gunning for the written exam this year.

Thanks for sharing. I believe you might be the only one preparing for the GSE on this board as I haven't seen dynamic nor Paul Boz in a while. I had an opportunity to chat with dynamik on IRC the other day and he mentioned he was banned from TE.

Dynamic is over at EH. I'm guessing Paul Boz is probably too busy with work to post on forums. I really shouldn't be spending too much time posting on forums either as my project list at work is brutal.

    Hi,

I'm 'Mark Hillick' and I wrote those blogs :) I did indeed just pass the GSE, having sat the lab in Orlando.

I don't have very much to add other than what's in the blog but if you've any questions about the exam, you can get me on Twitter @markofu.

It's actually great fun so I'd highly recommend giving it a shot.

    Cheers...m

Why was dynamik banned from TE?

    What is EH?

He was banned for being dynamik is the best way to put it.

Yup, he also mentioned he was over at EH. Keep us posted on your progress as you prepare for the GSE.

I liken preparing for the GSE to studying for a CCIE. It would be quite an enormous undertaking and while I'd like to attempt it some day, I doubt it'll be this year, or maybe even the next. I have a pile of books that need to be read, knowledge that needs to be put more into practice, and a growing project list at work that's relentless. "Fun."

I didn't mean that in a bad way.
