ITIL v3 Foundation certification

Hi,

Am working in IT Service providing company with the Title of Sales support Executive.

My aim is to become a Business Analyst. I need to Know wheather ITIL v3 foundation certification as important?
and How can ITIL will be useful for Business Analyst careers

Pls some one Help me out

ITIL will be useful if you're moving to a Business Analyst role, but this might be more relevant: Business Analysis | Business Analysis | Foundation | Business Analysis | Certifications | BCS Certifications

It's the Foundation in Business Analysis - I took it a few years ago and it was very interesting. It's mainly available in the UK - I'm not sure where you are in the world but if you can find a training provider who offers it, it may be more worthwhile than ITIL.

The quickest way to check if ITIL will be relevant is to check out the local job listings for the type of role you want - if ITIL is mentioned at all then the Foundation cert is a relatively small investment to make your CV stand out.
