ITIL 2011 Which book to study with?
xkaijinx
Hi all,
I am looking to take the ITIL V3 certification. It sounds like it is a test which you can study and prepare for within a week, given by basically memorizing all of the vocabulary terms.
I am looking for a study guide which will prepare me properly for the test but will not break the bank (saw a package for $200)
I am looking at the two books below for the ITIL 2011 test.
Amazon.com: Foundations of IT Service Management: The ITIL Foundations Course in a Book (9781463635343): Brady Orand, Julie Villarreal: Books
Amazon.com: Passing Your ITIL Foundation Exam - The ITIL Foundation Study Aid Book (9780113312061): Office of Government Commerce: Books
Can anyone recommend which one will be better? Thanks in advance

I'm also looking for some good books to help study for the ITIL 2011 Foundations exam, so any recommendations would be highly welcomed!
I believe
you want this book
though, the one you linked to is based on ITIL v3 which has since been replaced by ITIL 2011. I haven't yet picked up this book but will soon, as far as I know it looks like the best ITIL 2011 literature currently available.
Would anybody be able to offer any recommendations other than these?

9.99 plus the free Kindle app. Not a bad deal.

I studied from the same book astrogeek linked to. That and the link below by the same author were all I used to pass the exam recently.

If you can tolerate reading on a PC , or have an e-reader, get the ebooks. Would cost $15 for both books instead of 60.
