Please Critique my Resume

Hello all,

Its time to shape my resume! as I am looking for a job now.

Can you please review and give me suggestions to improve my resume? I am still thinking to add a strong summary at the top but still could not figured a strong summary. I also have repeated job description as well. Does it affect any? Please suggest.

I really dislike the 'Technology Skill Summary' section. I've never been a big fan of a meaningless wall of words with no context. If you want to highlight some technologies you have worked with then tell me how in the Experience section. Anyone can throw a bunch of buzz words at the top of their resume. I'd instead go with a few sentences here that describe yourself and career.

For your experience section try to make it less of a job description and more of what you actually did for the company. Did you meet a tight deadline? Or save the company a lot of money with a new product you recommended and rolled out? Show me something with some substance rather than just your required duties in a position.

I'd also combine the Education and Certification sections into one.

Over all its not bad, but not really the type of resume I like to see.

I concur with networker050184. That Technology Summary will work better a paragraph . Ideally you will hit some technical and non-tech aspects such as soft skills to show how well-rounded you are as a candidate.

I hate the bullet fest. The bullets lose their effectiveness since there are so many of them. What I like to see when I go through resumes is a paragraph describing duties and responsibilities of the position followed by a few bullets highlighting key accomplishments. Those accomplishments should ideally be something tangible that resulted in increasing the company's bottom line, let it be in monetary savings or improved processes. Right now your resume only shows that you planned, installed and implemented a lot of stuff. Literally anyone who can follow a deployment guide can do this. Not everyone can bring value. This is where you will differentiate yourself.
