Recertificiation?
cisco_nerd
Hi all!
Is there a recertification requirement for the ITIL v3.0 certification and how long are the certifications valid for?
I have tried searching on the ITIL website, google, and TE and have come up short.
I can only
assume
that don't expire as the older version of the Microsoft MCITP certifications, but i'm not too sure.
I do apologise if this has been covered before, however I was unable to find the answer for myself, so I thought I would post the question to those that are in the know or who are currently certified.
Cheers!

Hi Cisco, ITIL qualifications don't expire and there is no recertification requirement. New versions of ITIL (like v3.0) are released and you can choose to update your certification if you wish, but it's not compulsory. There are a lot of people with ITIL Foundation v2.0 on their CVs who would still be classed as ITIL Foundation certified. Claire
