Hi Claire!
Thanks for authoring such excellent books! My company has provided me ITIL 2011 foundations training during the last week of April, 2013. I didn't get much from the training. So, I searched for books and started studying Liz Gallacher's book. But, after finishing 2 chapters I lost interest in further studying it. Again a new search. I found your book, "ITIL Foundations Essentials" very short, concise and clear. I've been studying this book since last couple of weeks. I prefer self study and also get very less time to study due to my office work and family. My question is, out of your 2 books - is this the only book needed to study and pass the foundations exam? I'm specific - studying for and passing the exam.
Appreciate your quick response.
Thanks and best regards,
Faisal

Claire Agutter Member Posts: 772 ■■■■■■■□□□Hi Faisal, glad you are enjoying the book! The Foundation Essentials book set me a real challenge - to condense the ITIL Foundation syllabus into a pocket book. It took me some time to cut out all the fat, but every single fact you need for the ITIL Foundation exam is in there. A good way to test if you're ready is to download the free sample exam from here: http://www.itil-officialsite.com/Qualifications/ITILQualificationLevels/ITILFoundation.aspx and test your knowledge. If you get a good passing score, you're ready. Good luck, please let me know how it goes! Claire
