Hi Claire!

I work for a bank, (Customer service and front end operations - almost 7 + years ), I would like to take ITIL certifications?

Would like to understand whether it will help me in getting into ITES industry?

    Hi Prabhu, ITIL can certainly help you to move from customer service into an entry level IT position. You will learn about the processes and policies that many IT departments use, which will be of interest to potential employers. I moved from a customer service position to an IT helpdesk one very early in my career, and took my ITIL Foundation shortly afterwards. If you don't have much IT experience, I would recommend you take a course (online or classroom) rather than the self study route, as a course will put what you are learning into context. Good luck!
