Hi Claire!
In the first chapter from your book "ITIL Foundation Essentials", you've used a figure discussing "sources of service management best practice". Could you please explain how to understand this figure? What do those arrows and their relation with the words (like "Standards", "Employees") mean?
The same figure could be see here: http://www.best-management-practice.com/serviceTransition_demo/images/gr000001_large.gif
Thanks & best regards,
Faisal

For example, a financial services company could look at the existing best practice and standards, but might need to make some changes during implementation because of the legislation it has to comply with. Any guidance derived from the sources and enablers needs to be looked at in the context of a business's scenarios and drivers before it can be truly helpful. Claire
