Anyone see a rise in pay or promotion(s) due to attaining ITIL certification?

Since I took the ITIL Foundations, I've found that I've been offered a whole lot more senior-level and even management positions. This is, of course, on top of my decade of experience, but the frequency of being seen as a high-level IT professional has increased.

I suppose it depends what industry and part of IT you work in. I made my career in IT service management so my ITIL qualifications have been essential for consulting engagements, training accreditation etc. When I've recruited in the past I've looked for technical staff with ITIL awareness to demonstrate a mix of technical and service skills.
