I was initially planning to get the ccent, but now I'm planning to get a+ and ITIL foundations by the end of this year. I may get a cisco or Microsoft certification next year.

Blimey, what a response, thanks to all.
You've all thrown up stuff that's interesting and some certifications I've never even heard of or considered.
All the best for your targets!

I started my goals late this year. Around May after my daughter was born.

    My 2013 Goals
A+/N+/S+ (Free Vouchers courtesy of DoD)(Complete)
    CCENT, CCNA (Complete)
    BCNE (Free Voucher)(Complete)
    ITIL: F 2011 (Complete)
CCNA: Security (Test in 2 weeks)

I think that is all I am going to do this year. I only got that much done because I was to nervous to take any certifications for the first two years at my job. After I passed the first exam, it was like an addiction. Going to try and enjoy the holidays though.

    My 2014 Goals
    CCNA:Voice
    CCNP (R/S/T)
    CCDA (If time permits)
Start ACAPing from the military and looking for a new job.
Goals: WGU BS: IT-Sec (DONE) | CCIE Written: In Progress

This is the first time I've ever heard of BCSCI. Can anyone tell me a little about them?

The goal of BICSI's ITS Cabling Installation Program is to produce highly competent cabling installers in a minimal amount of time and at a reasonable cost. Upon completion of training, program participants should be able to conduct site surveys, pull wire/cable, and terminate and test copper and optical fiber cable to the highest level of specification. The program offers core skills training, registration examinations, and structured on-the-job training to meet the diverse needs of the telecommunications cabling industry. BICSI Website. Huge deal in the telecom industry.

My rest of year goals: pass the 70-680 and 70-685 exams. After that, hoping to start at WGU for the BSIT Security degree (target of 01 Dec 13).

    My 2014 goals:

    - Sit for the SAP Certified Application Associate SAP HANA 1.0 exam.

    - Sit for the CCNA exam. I realize that it is part of the WGU program, but, I received free training and a cert exam through Syracuse University and JPMorgan Chase, so I want to honor that commitment.

    - Sit for the CISSP exam. I just need to sit down with a current, local (ISC)2 member to hash out some things, in case of an audit. I have the experience, I just need to make sure I have my files in audit order. Once I've accomplished that, I will finish studying and sit for the exam.

    Lofty but attainable goals.

    2013 - Nov/Dec, do CCSK
2014 - Get grad. certificate in financial analysis in Mar, finish MBA in June, ISSAP in July, have kiddo no. 2 in June, GCIH in either Mar or Sept. That should be enough. At some point in time I need to start work on the CCNA, but man, there's no time anymore. Oh yeah, renew ISA in Feb. Get 50 CPEs for certs.
2015 - ISSMP in Feb, CCNA, start business, start work on second masters (I'll be six classes away from a masters in accounting and finance once I finish the MBA).

Actually, I'm quite satisfied with my life so far. Just have to keep on keeping on. :D

The last year and a half have been crazy. I got my CCNP and CISSP and changed jobs. I haven't had any certifications on my mind at all until recently. I think next year my goals are:

    Begin Master's degree
Determine what path I want to go for... then decide on cert.
I'm considering CCNP Security, CISA, and some GIAC (SANS) certs right now, still not sure which...

My 2013 goals we're to complete my MCITP:EA through WGU. I gave up on it and changed paths after finishing the first three exams. I just couldn't do it, was making me crazy. Thankfully, I did make one of my goals and that was to land a new gig. All of the hard work actually paid off to my surprise, I love it.

For 2014, finish WGU and decide on a Masters program to pursue. I'd like to finish mid-year but I'm not bored all day at work anymore, so I'm actually tired at night which makes it hard to burn through certification books at night. So we'll see.

For me it will be to finish the CCNP if I don't finish by the end of this month. I feel I am ready to take it now but I just don't have time since I started a new job. Next I want to start studying for my CCIE and along the way pass CCDA/CCDP. Hopefully be CCIE by 2016 :)

I didn't get to any of my goals during 2013 unfortunately, due to family health issues and interfering projects at work. So time to reset for 2014
I am planning on getting the following:
    MCSA/Windows 7
    SCCM 2012
    CCNA
Starting my bachelors degree program at WGU sometime during the year.
    and time permitting
