My experience has been, for those able to go to extreme levels, the person either has a great deal of experience in the field or an atypical ability to recall information with minimal study. Ratbuddy falls into the latter category and a couple of people in this thread fall into the former, with a few somewhere in between.

I have no doubt I could have gone 40+ in any of my terms. My problem has been a lack of motivation mostly. In all of my terms I've had periods where I complete classes in quick succession (3 in 3 weeks) and periods where I take 5 weeks for a single class. None of my classes I've taken should have required more than 3 weeks study with the majority being 10 days or less required.
