Was able to borrow ITIL for Dummies off of a friend a bit on a whim.
What is the relationship between ITSM and IT Foundation?

ITIL Foundation is a certification that deals with ITSM best practices through the ITSM lifecycle (5 phases from strategy to continual service improvement).The easiest thing to be in the world is you. Do you have an opinion if whether or not the ITIL for Dummies would be sufficient to study for the Foundation exam? -

I have never read it, so I can't really comment on it. I used the Sybex/Wiley book and it was a great resource.The easiest thing to be in the world is you. The most difficult thing to be is what other people want you to be. Don't let them put you in that position. ~ Leo Buscaglia

IMO it will give you an idea. Read it and take the sample tests out there and see if you get it. I looked at that book last summer and did nothing for me.
