My suggestion would be to keep your CCNAs alive, perhaps with another Associate-level track such as collab or wireless, or possibly try one of the NP level exams (doesn't need to be a full NP cert, just one of the exams from an NP track) in something that interests you. Keep labbing and studying the topic at home so that your skills don't completely atrophy as I can almost guarantee you that you'll use route/switch and network security at some point in your security career!
