    UPDATE: I passed the 98-364 Microsoft MTA: Database Administration Fundamentals exam today, and completed my 4th term. I'm taking a break to pursue my CISSP while I have the chance. My financial aid ran out, so I will need to wait until tax return/bonus season in a few months to continue. Stay tuned!

    Latest update:

    I came back from 90-day break in April, but something was different:

    1. I was much busier at my job, as they demanded a lot more of my time outside of work, regularly interrupting my attempts to study.

    2. My motivation had dropped as I was always wore out from work...

    As a result my current term is on life support. As a result I now have 8 weeks to finish all five classes for my current term.

    One thing I have done to help with the situation is that I've gotten a new job that will require less hours. The other thing I am working on is a plan of attack.

    Wish me luck. As always, any insight is welcome from wise counsel.

    Finally submitted my EUP1 Project in Web Development assignment a couple of days ago, only to have it come back yesterday. After looking over it, I realized I mad some silly mistakes, and corrected them, and even made my site a little better.

    Posting your site for free using Google really made finding web hosting a breeze.

    DHV1 (MTA 98-349 Microsoft OS Fundamentals) passed this morning. I ended up using Pluralsight CBT classes (since I have a subscription) to quickly ramp up on the material. Now on to CUV1.

    That is exactly what I did and passed WO a hitch. I believe I passed with about an 80%.

    I just had an interesting conversation with my mentor about the fact that my program is changing again, and some classes will be dropping off, while one class (Network+) will be added... I'll assess this info this weekend, and see what this will mean for my upcoming plans.

    So this past Friday I took the 1D0-520 exam for the CUV1 class and failed by ONE QUESTION. It is on me though because I didn't spend enough time studying. I'll tackle this one first during the new term.

    It has been a while since I have updated this thread. I am still trucking along, much longer than I should have on this. I've updated my degree plan once again last year, and pulled in some new classes, and took some breaks between terms to ramp up on a couple of new jobs. This term I let work and life get in the way of me doing my best, but I am recovering. I have about 1 term left, and I can finally be done with my undergrad.

    Submitted my project for TXP1 this morning. It was 144 in the queue, and the term ends tomorrow. I just checked not too long ago, and I was #114 in the queue....

    In the mean time, I'm working on passing my TXC1 Java exam tomorrow.

    I could actually pull off this term, and only have 4 classes left....

    Passed TXC1 tonight during my term extention. When I tried to take the test last week via online proctoring, my web cam wouldn't work. My mentor requested an extention for me to finish last term after the end of March, and it was approved. He stuck his neck out for me, and I came through.
    My last term can finally begin!

    No more letting work or other blockers get in my way, and no more knocking out 4 classes the last 2.5 months of the term!

    Working my way through my final term. I have 20 days left, and need still need to knock out three classes (was able to knock out TYP1 (Java OO Design Project) a couple of weeks ago). There is something to be said for doing this degree while single, with no kids, but alas, that is not my situation...lol. It has been a fight to the finish every step of the way for me, and I have taken way longer than I wanted to. In less than an hour, I take the TYC1 exam (Java OO Design), and am looking to knock another class off the list. That will leave me until September 30th to finish the Technical Writing, and Capstone assignments.
