VCP5-DCV to VCP6-DCV - Delta exam

Hi everyone,

I recently passed my VCP5-DCV and I am now looking to get it upgraded to VCP6-DCV

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any study materials, books, blogs etc.. for the Delta exam content?

I passed the VCP6-DCV delta exam in January. I used the Sybex Mastering vSphere 6 and the official VMware documentation. If you recently did the VCP5-DCV, you will not find it too hard. Just focus on the newer feature like vSAN, Content Library by example.

Also remember that in January the exam was for 6.0, so adapt your study, but verify the exam blueprint before.

Objectives of Delta exam are same as standard VCP6-DCV, just number of questions ar 65 instead 85.
So the study materials are same too.
I'm using this book:
VCP6-DCV Official Cert Guide (Exam #2V0-621) Premium Edition and Practice Test, 3rd Edition | Pearson IT Certification
Premium edition come with Pearson VCP6-DCV Premium Edition Practice Test software.

The delta exam is still based on 6.0 today, there will be 6.5-specific versions of the vSphere Foundations and full VCP6-DCV exams in about a month or so, but I've heard nothing concrete yet about when there will be a 6.5 version of the delta exam.
