Learn all the "Acts" meanings? CISSP
mattlyons
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I understand the test is more judgement related and conceptual but some things should be memorized such as some ports and protocols. My question is for all the computer "acts" referenced throughout the study material. Should all the details of them be memorized and which expounded on which and what each one did? There are 10-20 mentioned that are pretty difficult to memorize.

This right here. This is not a memorization test. This is a test where you have to learn the concepts. This is why many people who have not been in security before or have limited experience in management positions have issues with this test.

I understand, for example, just learning the concepts of DRP, BCP, SDLC and topics like that from a high level and not memorizing and instead applying them. But all the Acts seems to me there isn't anything to them except memorization. Maybe that means I haven't learnt them well known yet.
