in GIAC
Is there any value in indexing book 6? Has anyone done this? I wouldn't think there be anything in the Labs, not covered int he first 5 books, but you never know.
Still searching for the corner in a round room.

I did not index the lab book. I have never done it in any prior exams either but I have thought about it. I'm sure there is relevant information in it but I think it can all be found elsewhere in the course material. I think I used my index/books a lot less in this exam than any other. -

I think I used my index/books a lot less in this exam than any other.
That makes a lot of sense, it not like they can expect you to analyze malware during the exam. A lot of the exam is probably on theory, and if you understand the methods malware uses and strategies to adapt for analysis, your in good shape. Someone did mention they were stuck on an assembly code question.Still searching for the corner in a round room.
