Studying AWS SysOps Administrator Associate

Hi! I'm currently studying AWS SysOps Administrator-Associate. My study materials are CBT nuggets. is that sufficient? can anyone suggest other study materials, I'm afraid i might miss anything before taking the exam. thanks!

I used linux academy and found it along with 6 months hands on AWS experience sufficient enough to pass the exam first time.

I liked A Cloud Guru's videos and Linux Academy's Practice exams.
If you had to pick ONLY 1 for the 2, probably go with Linux Academy. But A Cloud Guru's videos are slightly more enjoyable.

The exam is the toughest out of the associate level AWS exams. A lot of scenario based questions, long paragraphs, and reading comprehension needed. Expect to take the entire time allotted. Not because of the difficulty of the material, but because of the amount of reading needed and the difficulty in determining exactly what the scenario calls for.

Do you have any other AWS certs? Do you have some previous AWS work experience?

None so far and this is the cert (Sysops) i am targeting. I'm currently working in a company that uses AWS and i got an admin access into it. Prod environment in action is visible to me, we also have Sandbox for AWS. Lucky for me i got an immediate place to perform some hands-on activity.

Right now, I just finished the AWS Foundation course from cbtnuggets. It's pretty good so far. It's a long way to go as i still need to finish the Sysops Associate course. I might go ahead and take the course from linux academy. Any suggestions aside linux academy? or that is sufficient enough?

If you want only ONE resource, I suggest Linux Academy.

If you're OK with using multiple resources, I recommend using https://acloud.guru/ first and then going to Linux Academy second.

Getting experience in a production environment is the best. But at the same time, don't feel like you need to wait for something to break at work in order to troubleshoot. You can get a a free-trial AWS account for a year using your own personal e-mail address and log in whenever you want. That way you can set up and break whatever you want and try all the services you want out. However, be careful about racking up charger for services or scales that are beyond the terms of the free-trial! (Perfect experience in cost-cutting
