How many of you took more than one attempt to pass SWITCH? Did anyone out there pass all three tests on the first try to get your CCNP?

Dang. That was at $250 a pop, right? I know that reading that "fail" the second time was the pits of the world when you left the testing center.

I think its $300 per attempt since last 2 years. I passed on first attempt.

Cisco labs in the exam are a great way to score good if you know the practical stuff. Don't forget to go through the theory as well

Build a home lab if you can afford.

    Good luck.

Yeah, definitely. Its just part of the process with these exams, its only money at the end of the day. Not the end of the world, you just re-read the sections you were weak in and keep going. In my experience they have always paid off in the end, whether it opens a door to a new job or a promotion or just the satisfaction of finally passing.

Yep. Took Switch twice. Don't get down on yourself. Studying the honest way will always pay off in the long run.

It took me 2 attempts to pass the exam. I read too fast and skim over keywords the first time. The second time I felt more confident because I slowed down.

SWITCH I passed on the first try.  ROUTE and TSHOOT both took me two tries.
