You asked a question, you got a handful of positive responses. While you can sulk about your past, obviously there are people here that are providing positive criticism. Either you can fix your life decisions or be consumed by self pity. You have long ways to go to make a better future in IT if you plan on continuing with it. There are always people in worst situations that turned a bad outcome into a good one.
