Cheap / Free Certifications

I recently attended a training webinar from Qualys to knock out some CEUs. They offer a test at the end to get their QualysGuard Certified Specialist certification. The training and certification are both free.

I know they don't carry much weight on a resume. But, it made me wonder what other free or cheap certifications are out there. Are there other vendors or organizations that offer certs that are free or very cheap?

The ACE (AccessData certified examiner) for their forensic toolkit was free. Getting a system with the software is the hard part.

Are you specifically asking about free security certs or free certs in general?
