And that's what I'm interested in, not amassing a vast amount of knowledge that I can't comprehend and apply at a very high level. That's sorta my point. You could do either of the above by reading 10,000 pages in a year. It's better to aim for deep understanding of something than to read a boatload which may or may not result in a deep understanding.
