Best Site I've Found To Date!

Hi all,

I'm a new member to this site and I just want to say this is the best site I've seen so far! I really want to commend all you guys for your relentless positive feedback and encouragement. It is truly refreshing.

I've been in IT for 4 years now and would really like to come off the helpdesk. I have learned a lot but frankly I'm tired of the phones and I want to learn more. I have always been a fan of IT and would like to broaden my horizons. I will begin studying for my A+ and Network+ the end of this month.

LOL! Well, I'm glad you didn't remove me.I was pleasantly surprised by the positive feedback. I'll be more careful choosing my subject in the future. Most sites I visit there is way too much negativity & bashing going on.

I'm not totally against the phones, just not for an entire shift. I'm pretty good at multi-tasking and after a point being on the helpdesk is no longer challenging. I want to be able to learn and do more.

I have to say, this site is a GREAT resource...I just wish I had known about it when I studied for A+.

Probe the forums and use the resources posted, these people are here to help!!!!!

BTW...I made flash cards for A+ and found it really helped

Best of luck.....A+ is good but Net+ is a really fun course (I thought)

Welcome! I agree, this is a great site. Be sure to use the tech notes on this site for A+ and Net+. I've worked in network support for years, and the tech notes is what got me through the tests! Good luck!
