Passed JNCIA -ER next JNCIS -ER

Guyz I passed my JNCIA-ER with a 100% score

"Today" next stop JNCIS - ER.
The material I used are all on the Juniper fast track website and I used Olive for the lab Simulations.

Thank you guys for all the info.

Well I heard that it is a bit difficult ,but i will try my best and with all the info i have gathered from other threads on Juniper i feel i have the right medicine.

heh, yea, it's definitely not the easiest cert. I, as well as other ppl I know, found the JNCIS-ER to be much harder the the JNCIS-M. The same is what I heard to be true between the JNCIE-ER and the JNCIE-M, but I'll let you know about that in a few days

For the JNCIS-ER I would recommend knowing the AJRE slides as well as possible and then supplement your learning with the JUNOS Enterprise Routing book.

Are you really shooting for the JNCIS-ER at the end of the month? That's pretty ambitious

Well I have taken the preassessment test today and got 88% but i know i am not yet ready so i shifted the dates. Im thinking of writing the exam on the first week of August.

See i dont know if i am being too ambitious or not but i have 2+ years experience working a few Juniper routers at my company,and i have read back 2 back the Junos enterprise routing book more than

times before I actually made a decision to become Juniper certified.

For someone who is already in the field but specialising mainly with Cisco Routers and a few juniper routers ,I feel I have to give it my all but i know it wont be easy though.

If your ready then don't hold your self back. Before I started looking at the ER track I took the pre-assessment test and got a 80% on it the first shot. I then studied for 2 weeks and got a 92% on the JNCIS-ER.

I would say that if you did that well on the pre-assessment test then a week or two of studying should suffice for sure.

But it's really all about your comfortableness with the material. If you feel ready, go for it, if not then more studying is never a bad thing.
