hi....i am master degree student...i want to be an ethical hacker...so from where i have to start....and also for further info. on it........

If you already have experience in security or grasp the general concepts of security, I would start with Security+ (offered by CompTIA) and go from there.

I don't think you can just "be" a CEH as a job; its more like the skills gained from these study/labs will give further knowledge on the hacker mentality (academically) in efforts to help you serve as a network defender. If you're interested in pen testing, there are other certs available ie. OSCP, GPEN, LPT etc. -

thanks for information.......i do not have any kind of experience....so should i start with Security+ for Ethical Hacking or go with CEH.......

definatly start with Security+. Get a really good grasp of the concepts. Once you are done with that, get some experience with linux, and start on CEH. -

you wouldn't want to root a Server, only to realize you have no idea what to do when you're inside...

No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.
