Swede faces world-record $1m speeding penalty

They fine you based on the multiplyer of your speed and your wealth. That would slow the sh.t bags down on my morning commute... But, if your wealth is zero, does that mean you can drive as fast as you like

0-60 in 3.9 secs and electronically limited to 196 mph..

Look at the car though... I nearly had to change my underwear just on the door handle alone..

No. The car starts around $230k... I sure wouldn't spend $1m on a fine.

In Sweden the fine is proportionate to your salary or wealth. The more money you have, the more you pay.

The worst part of that story is the link to a 20 year old who got his dad's Veyron impounded permanently.
