Unified Communications Manager 6.0

Hey Guys,

Trying to study for CIPT1. (642-446)
I have a server and I want to install CUCM 6.

Apart from Cisco does anybody know where I could obtain a copy ? :D

    I think Jeremy mentioned in one of his CBT Nuggets eBay that you could buy the "media kits" on eBay -- but I don't see any listed here in the US right now. Not sure if that's because everyone is trying to earn the CCVP and bought them or if Cisco has "shut down" the "media" business on eBay.

    The Demo/Trial License and ability to run 6.x and 7.x on VMWare made those media kits good for a home lab use.

    Yeah, I've noticed that the media has all but dried up on the bay of late. The guy that I purchased the kit from always seemed to have stock - must have been a cisco intervention!

    You want to look for 7.0 as the demo license is less restrictive (you can setup a cluster).

    Yeah you will need to search around for the 6.x or 7.x install images or disks. Cisco gave VMWare licenses for free with these for lab purposes only.
