Inflated titles

I got an e-mail solicitation from a recruiter asking me to look at his site. Felt like spam, so I didn't click on anything. That said, here's his claimed job title:

Senior Recruiter Sorcerer

If I get laid off and really need help, this guy can probably cast some spells and hook me up with a sweet gig assuming I go find some magic ring or something.

Either they're intending something along the lines of "sourcing" or they're totally going for the Sorcerer > Wizard thing as its 1 higher!

I work with quite a few creative types, and these titles are everywhere in the creative freelance world. "The Man", "Graphics Guru", etc. They work well there... IT? Not so much.

Yeah, but I was kinda disappointed when the picture of him didn't include a socerer's hat and maybe a staff of some sort. If you are going to conjur some title up you might as well run with it!
