Here's the plan

Alright! The wife left town this morning. She won't be back until Monday. It fundamentally sucks. BUT on the other side of the coin I have decided to give my weekend to IT certification. I have a few options.

1) Just drive my efforts into CCNP, I know I won't pass Route in a weekend. But there are some good lab hours in there
2) My job has a small pile of WLC and aeronet stuff. I think it's enough to cover the lab for the CCNA:Wireless. Top it off, I have the CBTnuggets AND the book for it. I MIGHT be able to learn this in a weekend bootcamp style! 3 ten hour days? (Worth mentioning I already did the certified wireless admin stuff last year)
3) Exchange, I have the experience and probably just need to read the book/questions and I could certify up, no problem

I lost my ASA access for the time being so that is a bust. Anyhow, any thoughts? OH! I'll also need a beer recommendation.

Study, really? My wife and kids are out of the country for another week; I'm racing to paint as many rooms as I can as well as regrouting/sealing the bathroom and kitchen.

It seems a lot of material to cram into a weekend; good luck with it.

Ended up messing with Cisco wireless stuff all night. Was fun. But without more equipment I think I am not learning anything. Might just mess with CCNP all weekend.

I recommend Corsendonk Brown Ale. I had a Young's Double Chocolate Stout last weekend and it was mighty tasty as well. Pair either with a nice cigar while you can get away with it. Otherwise, go for a seasonal microbrew.

Wow Claymoore.. I didn't notice that Dos Equis in your avatar until today. Are you trying to insinuate that you are the most interesting man in the world?

Corsendonk, there is a beer I haven't heard of for a while. Belgium brewed I believe.

Young Double Chocolate is defiently doable, but I am more of a Oatmeal Raisen Stout guy, perferably from Samuel Smith.

Then of course there is McEwans.

Samuel Smith makes some fine beers. Had the Nut Brown Ale recently, but it's been a while since I had the Oatmeal Stout or the Taddy Porter.

I normally prefer lighter beers, such as Sam Adams Summer Wheat or Blue Moon's Honey Moon summer beer, when out walking the dogs in the evening. Then I was in Atlanta this summer and stayed in a county that doesn't have liquor stores. Cigars give my wife a migraine, so I only have a smoke when I am on the road and I was looking forward to relaxing with a nice cigar. I prefer rum with my cigar, but there was no rum to be found. It made more sense to pair a dark beer with a smoke and I managed to find a few that I enjoyed. Actually, with six weeks on the road supporting clients in Atlanta and Jacksonville, I enjoyed more than a few stouts and stogies.
