Passed ICND2

So after failing ICND2 back in December, I finally got back on that saddle and passed with a score of 832 today. It definitely felt easier this time around and it feels good to pass on the second go around. For those of you currently studying, study the test objectives and know how to practically apply them to the network. I think that's why I failed the first time; I knew how to configure, but not so much how to apply them to a given requirement/scenario.

I have taken ICND1 and plan to take the test next week, but then I have plans to take the composite instead of ICND2. What made you to decide on taking the ICND2 instead of the composite. I hear the compostite is much easier then taking the ICND2 because the ICND2 is going to cover a more detailed subject matter in the same amount of questions then taking the composite test. The composite test covers a broader base of material. Please let me know how you decided to take one over the other.

Well, I thought it easier to focus on one set of objectives at a time, which seemed to help me focus better on what I was studying. The other reason is that I read many stories about folks running out of time on the composite exam. I didn't want to take that chance and lose points because I simply didn't finish all the questions in 90 minutes.
