70-646 Passed!

I completed the 70-646 today on my first attempt! Scored 770. This was a very tough exam. The practice questions from Self Test Software and Measure Up were absolutely paramount in my passing the exam. The practice questions touched on a lot of the R2 material that wasn't in the book.

The exam had 50 questions. 22 normal questions with 5 testlets containing 28 questions. I had 50+ mins for the 22 questions and each testlet was around 4+ mins for each question.

70-643 next month and then the big Kauna in August/September - 70-647!

    Congrats Jander!
No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.

Yeah, I know the 647 is a bear. Actually, I think the 646 was a good exam to take in preparation for the 647. I'm really starting to understand the bigger picture of network design and implementation.

Good for ya! When do you intend doing the 643? Better sooner rather than later I'd say.

Prob 4-5 weeks. I could probably just skirt thru the book, pound some practice questions and pass the exam. However, I hate to cut corners because it always seems to bit me in the arse. I'll read the entire book, do all the exercises on my virtual lab, study my practice questions and then take the exam. Hopefully near the end of July. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

After that, I expect to spend two months on the 647.

You stick with that and it'll take you where you want to be. Like your attitude! icon_thumright.gif
