Trying to register for the ITIL exam on Pearson VUE
and it asked this questions:

*Please enter the name of the Training Provider, or type: self-study

    Hi Claire

    I contacted the EXIN via email on there website, and it's been 3days now and i am still awaiting a response from them.

    I also contacted the sales office

    Phone: +1 781 878 1235

    But the Representative i spoke to, did not appear to know if it was required.

    I would like to register fro this exam (ITIL Foundation v3) but not sure why they require my DOB, etc?

    It's probably for ID purposes, but if they're not answering your question then you won't know for sure.

    You can register for the ISEB Foundation exam instead (same exam, just provided by different examination institute). I don't know if they ask for your DOB etc but it's worth a look.

    I couldn't find the info. And yes they ask for DOB, POB, Gender.
    I mean, come on! how intrusive!
    Worst of all can't find anyone to explain why this info is relevant or necessary!!!!!

    I couldn't wait much longer, so i sat for the exam last Friday.

    And yes i passed it!!!
