I applied for a job yesterday - a systems admin and i got an email saying i qualified for another job posting for a systems support position. So, i picked a day for the interview. Now, i got another email saying that i should bring any evidence to document my education, experience and qualifications, and also some references.

How can I prove my experiences? I have my transcript from college.

What could be more confusing than what the email asked for? You seem to understand what was being asked. You are going to an interview, and you only need to be honest. Don't fabricate the required documentations. Just bring whatever you can, and be yourself. Good luck.

Since they said you qualified for that, you have to walk in that interview with confidence and be yourself. It's not the end of the world if you can't get all the required documentations. You can email them back and asked what exactly they are looking for.

I have my transcript, and I have over 5+ years of experience as an IT specialist.

If you don't have physical documentation then perhaps some of your former managers and coworkers can vouch for your experience.

Perhaps have some of your references from previous jobs write up a brief letter of recommendation?

IMHO, make sure you are pretty damn honest during the interview, as fabricating what you know in an IT position tends to get called out a lot quicker and easier than a marketing or other type of position.

I'd take that to mean transcripts and references from previous employers. If they want to call and verify with your references then they can do that.
