2 Weeks at my job, when should I ask about Certs reimbursement.

I'm planning to take my Certification next week, is it too early to ask my current employer to pay for my cert, only been working there for 2 weeks but the cert is relevant to my job.

I would ask, but a couple of employers I have encountered had a policy that they would not reimburse until you were past 60/90 days.

I usually ask if they cover it at the interview. I don't think there is anything wrong with asking at anytime really. Just another benefit the company may or may not offer.

Thanks for the output guys! If it's 60-90 days should i just take it then instead of whenever I am ready?

Yep, I generally ask before I'm even hired as continuing education is pretty important to me. At any rate I think it's okay to ask anytime. Most companies are receptive to their folks trying to better themselves

Sound like me. I'm always big on asking about that.

I like to know if the company also invests in its employees.

But, after the fact, you can inquire on company policy. I find that knowing company policy is really important, for getting things done, the more bureaucratic an organization is (e.g., U.S. Military).

Always ask in the interview. If you didn't, just ask someone else that works there.

^^ This. If I have some certs that I want to get, and I'm changing jobs, I ask about it during the interview process.
