ORC1 / CIW JavaScript

Just started CIW's 1D0-635 JavaScript through WGU (class ORC1). Those who have taken it, without of course breaking NDA, how was it? I'm not a programmer so I have no knowledge of JavaScript.

the ciw one its self ... wgu sent it to me now they do ebooks of the same thing and ucertify

Is the CIW book the same as the text on Certification-Partners? I wasn't given access to uCertify for this course.
