First IT job interview is T-o-m-o-r-r-o-w !

I am excited

any kind of last min advice ? Job title is "System admin (router management)"

I know that They are using Zyxel Zywall USG 50 as a router. There are 10 workstations. They all use Windows including Server. They have other office which has ftp and the web server there. So probably there is a kind of VPN between these 2 offices. Router is a nice product which has a firewall ability as well as all router capabilities including load balancing and so on. But i don't know what may they ask

My only big concern is if they will ask about active directory or not because job title includes " system admin "

My last min advice is.... bring us a winner

Be prepared for all kind of questions including AD. Poland is a bit different than US or UK, here you have to be jack of all trades, especially in small companies. Most IT guys I know here are network,system and security admins as well as programers, that's one of the reasons why I'm looking for a job in UK rather than in Poland

Relax. The Zywall USG is a simple enough device to admin. Your CCNA will cover you on whatever it'll throw at you.
I'd be more worried about them having the "(router management)" in the title, if you're expecting to support servers also. What was in the job spec?

You can look at this as an opportunity to do your MS certs

job spec is not available because they have found me by a reference. Actually the network design is more complicated at their other office. Here there is nothing to deal with DMZ and so on. But if they ask me to go to the other office ,why not But as you know a real experience is always differs in reality. My knowledge may be enough to pass the interview if i use them very well. I wish i had some interviews before... I am studying in a university still Btw, you have an experience with Zywall ? if so how is the CLI ? as far as i see from the manuel, it is close to Cisco CLI

See if you can get a friend or family to give you a tough interview. The experience might be of some use.

I haven't used the CLI for the Zywall. The one I came across only had a GUI interface. It was simple, but had decent info (like a Cisco SDM).

That is right, there is no a real border between System Admin,Network Admin and Network Engineer here....

The job sounds like it will mostly be desktop support so assuming they ask any technical questions it may be geared towards that sort of thing. It's a small company so I'd be wanting to emphasize ability to get stuck into anything that is thrown at you.

Seems a bit strange to have "router management" included in a job title! I mean, in a company that size it should be a set it and forget it type of scenario.

I don't know how interviews are done in Poland, but besides the technical part, be prepared for more general questions, e.g.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Why should we hire you?
- What would you do in this situation (insert tricky scenario)?
- etc..

P.S. At a later stage in the interviewing process (perhaps not tomorrow, but the next conversation), ask if "router management" can be dropped from the title.

Above all else, always tell the truth. A lot of people try to fumble their way through questions they may not know the answer to because they're worried that it'll hurt them if they "look stupid" by admitting that they don't know. Never try to make something up or give a junk-answer, it can really, REALLY backfire. The fact of the matter is, being straightforward and admitting that there's something you don't know how to do might just make the difference between getting hired and being told "sorry".

Just try to relax and think your way through all the interview questions, you'll be surprised at how much you can remember once you're there. If they ask you a question you don't know the answer to, the best course of action is to tell them that you don't know, but that you can look it up or learn how to do it.

Network administration = troubleshooting, log analyzing, file management, router/firewall management ( vpn, load balancing...) network documentation and scripting (file management, disk management and resource allocation)
