Packet tracer Lab problem

this is actualy way to easy to give it away.

It gets much harder than this,

you just need to take your time and think about exactly what they say and only do what they ask.

I assume you have exhausted all the show commands? Everything is locked, and they gave you no printable topology? you can't send any packets by switching to simulated mode.

In the right Colum, click on the magnify glass,
then hover over R1 when you get a gui click routing table.
Now you can begin,

i did step 1 you see completion 7%

I tried to help the OP and did various show commands, but none of them display the subnet mask. However, if there was enough time available, it would be possible to assign different IP addresses and see if the routers can still see each other

Yeah Thats what i am say so easy, but i got to thinking and started to feel bad. i had a packet tracer i could not solve years ago, in static routing, i asked for help. i was pretty happy to get the help, sorry i started off the way i did, my apology.

Ahh the magnifying tool! Thanks. Now I'm running into a second issue:

R6
- Assign the last usable IP address in the subnet R1’s Serial 3/1 interface is using.

There is no Serial 3/1 on R1.

Gotta be a typo in the instructions. There's a Serial3/0, but that goes to R5.

i logged into my netacad account to try and find packet tracer activity lab 4. but i can t find it.
which semester/modual, which chapter. usualy the lab has a mor complete name such as ( 4.3.2).

It appears to me that this lab was created by an instructor, not a lab from Netacad. All the labs I had in Netacad were not locked, and the lab instructions were written much different than what is in this lab. I do like this one though.

I'm having trouble implementing default routes for R5 and R6.

for both I've tried: ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 fastEthernet 0/0.

I couldn't get more than 30% on this lab after doing all the requirements. I can telnet to all routers except R1, too bad this locked down so much that you can't check the assessment items.

yeah...agreed. I got to 61% than went down to 53%. I'm gonna move on...crappy lab!

it was fun for a while huh, I could not telnet into r1 either.

I am doing oracle virtual box today, I'm loading up Solaris now.

I think Ltat42a is correct this is a instructor goof up. I never saw anything like it either, I am not saying that the Net academy labs never had errors, they did, so does cisco press, but this lab is not even written like any other.

Yeah...I started lab 5 and it keeps crashing on me...Need to find better labs...
