How many WIC 1T or WIC 2T modules?

Hi I have four routers with four WIC 1T modules as follows

1721 (128MB/32MB) - 1 x WIC 1T IOS 12.4 AdvEnterprise K9 - M
1721 (128MB/32MB) - 1 x WIC 1T IOS 12.4 AdvEnterprise K9 - M
1721 (128MB/32MB) - 2 x WIC 1T IOS 12.4 AdvEnterprise K9 - M

1841 (256MB/64MB) - No WIC Modules installed IOS 12.4(20)T ADVSECURITY K9 - M

And I have 2 DCE DTE cables

What I would like to know is how many more WIC 1T or WIC 2T modules do I need?

Think about it. For a full mesh physical point-to-point network, 4 routers all connected together, you are going to need at least 3 serial ports on each router (each router connected to other 3).

As you can see, that's a bit costly.

If you use one of your routers as a frame relay switch, then all you'd need is 1 physical connection to the Frame Relay switch per router.

So, if that's what you want, 1 FR switch + 3 routers, then you'd need a total of four WIC-1T and one WIC-2T.

I thought about it but didn't think like this thanks mate, as you said what I should do is put a WIC-2T and a WIC-1T on 1841 and WIC-1T each on three 1721 Routers , So that 1841 becomes the FR Switch
